For the people saying Brighton won’t park the bus clearly don’t know a lot about them and Chris hughton.

He is arguably the most defensive manager in the league he makes Sean dyche look like Johan cruyff.

Why would Brighton park the bus? They're safe, nothing to lose

The only way they can move up a place is if they win the game

Surely they'd want to end the season having a go and giving their fans some entertainment
Because it is the way hughton always approaches every game away from home and against the better sides. He even got sacked at norwich for basically being too defensive. He is a top bloke but a dire manager

I hope Pep gives them all the day off today. Nice long lie-in, cuddle with the wife/girlfriend, big late breakfast, play with the kids, sit around in the garden in the afternoon, good dinner and another cuddle, them back to work on Wednesday. No training today I hope.
I just hope none of ours injure themselves during the vigorous cuddling.

Ederson

Walker
Vinny
Laporte
Mendy

Gundogan

Other Silva

Sterling
Agüero

This is where Pep will have to earn his money, there is going to be nothing simple about this game and we are going to have to fight for title.

The important thing is to be patient and to take control of the game, they showed in the semi final that they can defend deep and frustrate us. If we were to let one in then it could be a very tough afternoon all round.

I suspect we may be going in at half time 0-0 again but they boys to pull it around in the 2nd half.

I am going to relax and enjoy three evenings of European action , after that I will go into the usual worry mode.
So much is my hatred of the scouse twunts I won't even relax and enjoy tonight's game unless barca smash a couple in first and the camera panning to distraught scousers crying into their palms, so possibly 2 1/2 evenings of enjoying European football for me as a distraction till the weekend.

Foden will have to wait, or at least until late on if we are needing another goal threat from the edge of the penalty area.

They are terrible playing out from the back and Sergio looked goosed last night, I would play both him and Jesus for the press.

Make sure we leave someone up if they get a corner.

Newcastle should have been three up inside the first half hour last week.

He was livid with everyone. We were a far better team with Sané on the pitch.

Sané gave the ball away 2 or 3 times just after we scored and I thought Pep came close to taking him off. He was worked up in general, but he was apoplectic with Leroy.

All our attacking players are looking a spent force at present, only Bernardo is showing any signs of consistency. Raheem and Silva are our worst performers but so long as we're winning where is the worry?

We still looked far more coherent and threatening as an attacking force with Sané on and Bernardo in midfield. If we're still missing De Bruyne and Dinho, I can't see Guardiola not starting him.

All of that applied to yesterday's selection as well, but Pep didn't start him.

I have seen enough from Jesus to think he might have more joy getting behind a tightly-packed Brighton defence than Leroy from the start, coming in from the left hand side?

He presses better than anyone else in our team and our success will come only if we don't let them breathe and they keep hammering it clear.

Got a few tricks, has our Gabs.
