Lol at some of the comments on here. How can Brighton stir up such emotion in some of you? They're literally the most inoffensive club in the league.
They're a nice trip to the beach. No risk of any abuse or fights. Very family-friendly, pleasant little club who try and play nice football.

I think it's more to do with the last game against them.
We played them a week or two before the champions league final and they literally kicked fuck out of us.
Their players knew they were able to get away with it so kept doing it.

After the carry on last season in this fixture I hope we batter these twats! I'll never forget Pep interview after the game he was livid and his exact words were "We will not forget this".
No doubt Pep will give the players a reminder for the referee performance, Brighton kicking us about the place along with that lanky string of piss Potter celebrating over at our dugout.
