Not forgetting that after this result Pep announces his retirement as he's fed up and De Zerbi stays on in Manchester to take over as coach with immediate effect.

I wouldn’t say no. Pep is great but it can’t last for ever.

Brighton are a very good side, but defensively they can be got at. We just need to get back to winning ways, but it would be nice bonus to get a clean sheet and for Erling to bag a few..
 
I want to see Erling hitting some form in this game, been well out of sorts lately, but players also need to do a lot more to supply him. Pretty much a must win game with some hard fixtures on the horizon, and this will be hard make no mistake about it

Sterling left 18 months ago and has scored about 4 goals since. We might be missing Mahrez and Gundo but we certainly aren’t missing Raz, as much as I love him

Tricky first game after an international break, but relieved that we haven't picked up any new injuries. Should be a fully fit squad, apart from De Bruyne. Would like to see Stones back in the starting XI.

Hope we see a response on Saturday. No more slow build-up and just attack with pace, precision and urgency. Having Johnny Boulders will help with that I bet.

I hope we get to see Gvardiol and Stones in the same side together, would take the piss.

This will be an exciting game. Brighton are exciting team and will take the game to us. That last game away was cracking despite the draw. Hyped!

Spot on. Sterling was our only natural goalscorer. The amount of tap in’s he got was phenomenal. Neither do we have a specialist penalty taker since Mahrez’s departure. If Mahrez were here to take the first penalty vs The Arse and set the tone, we win that shootout.
