After four tough games Brighton will be a test , they have just beaten the Goons and Spuds away from home and comparing our next game to the Dippers they have the easier task against a spineless and clueless Rags team.
Would take a scrappy 1-0 now , any ideas of improving goal difference can be forgotten , its the result that matters on Wednesday.
They are no pushovers. Seem to remember they drew at candlefield too?

Dangerous game, up against quality coach and team. Glad Bissouma is out, would take Lamptey tomorrow

Im hoping KDB is only fit to start on the bench,it might open a few eyes to how much better the team plays without him restricting/smothering our midfield.
Who exactly is Kev restricting and smothering? Who has scored most of pur important goals over the last few games and who has his vision in our midfield? Not forgetting his work off the ball. He is vital to us, winning anything

Sorry for starting this in reduced style, just couldn't wait :)

Kick off 20:00 (BST).
The match is not being broadcast live in the UK.

Referee: Mike Dean. Assistants: Darren Cann, Eddie Smart. Fourth official: Robert Jones. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Neil Davies.

Absentees: probably Walker and Palmer, Jesus to be assessed after hobbling off

Pep's pre match presser should be tomorrow, Tue 1.30pm.

Time to win again in our usual style, but Brighton will have a word to say after winning away at Arsenal and Spurs (after a really poor run before).

Over all competitions we were only winning 3 out of the last 12 at half time. Hope we take the early lead and manage the game. A loud Etihad would do the lads well and forget their tired legs.

Mind, we might not start the match being top of the league. (Liverpool play Utd Tuesday at home.) Lets' see....

EDIT: oops, didn't see thread already exists ;)

Realistically, Brighton have not have not got the strength in depth to keep up a challenge for a European place and suffer from burn out (bad run). BHA lose out to Benfica over Nunez in an attempt to sign the missing striker, and lose over Ben White and Dan Burn to Arsenal and Newcastle who wanted regular first team football. With Bissouma out it may be too much of a hurdle to get any sort of result, which doesn't matter much. https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/211/Show/England-Brighton PREDICT 2-0
