We are also bound by PSR, our long term targets if led to believe, muisala, wirtz , frimpong etc were never available in the summer unles we broke the bank and risked sanctions and others like Neves were buy or lose out and he was never coming as well as others as they were not gonna start over people like rodri and Kevin and would go to a club they were starters

Bobb, Savinho, McAtee and O'Rielly eased in plus Lewis, Nunes and Gvardial with a season behind them seemed adequate to see us to next year.

I ain't pissed off we never bought loads in the summer and have not heard any other blue I know say that, bar the obvious Rodri cover.

Many I talk to are pissed off we are not adjusting accordingly, we cannot play a high line with the current injuries and not giving the young ones a chance and nnoyed at the experienced players still fit not performing to their usual standards.
I was pissed off we didn’t buy cover for Rodri and the Viking and it was so obvious we needed it

Spot on. Why can’t the hundreds of people moaning about lack of quality signings and slagging the club off see this? We’ve just won a case vrs the PL because of this. We’ve been illegally hampered in the transfer market and just had it proved. The PL have got exactly what they wanted - yet we still could go top today whilst Arsenal are floundering with a mainly fully fit team.
I fucking love angry Pep. He’ll sort it. It might not be today, but as always, a few on here and in the gutter press will be embarrassed again come May.
Expecting a big performance today - some big players hurting atm and won’t lie down that’s for sure
3-1 City

Went down to low points this so will likely be a top atmosphere in the away end with many who don’t always get the chance to go anymore.

Pep is pissed off. We have had an injury crisis and that loss at Sporting will have been a really sore point. He wants his players to stand up. If they're fit for international duty they're fit for us. If they're not then they shouldn't be going anywhere.

I am sure there will be a reaction against Brighton. It's back to basics. Defending well, no silly fouls or giving the ball away and causing unnecessary pressure.

Brighton will come at us, so being robust defensively is the way to go, there will be space for our attacking players.

We have a few back now, it's time for them to show their fight.

Win later and who knows, we could be top at the International break and then the crisis is well and truly over. Only takes a win today and the break will then do us good.

Who else can play the Rodri role in world football? Isn't Pep going to have to find a new system?
No single transfer will fix the team.

For me if squad is unchanged he should look to his Bayern days of a 3-4-3 with wing backs on atrack that would switch to 4-1-4-1 in defence and Put rico in a holding DM rolle as he played it a fair few time at youth level.

probably mean a 5-4 humdinger of a game.as we could have a more pacey skillfull attack but if we went high get caught out, the back 3 would be told to stay in their 20 yard area.

all well and good but maybe we should show the opposition some respect and stop playing so open.

drop Gundogan and play an extra defender

Without wanting to further derail the thread, this isn't correct.
We could have signed two players in summer for £100m each and still wouldnt be close to breaking PSR rules.

If the lack of action in the transfer market is for financial reasons, it will be because of the north standing extension.
