Any chance Pep wins 4 on the bounce and leaves? Maybe to the England job?

Hope not, and he stays for a long time, but it never works in the last season on an egg timer.

Also this from a few months back….

You can’t fault there scouting system also manager recruitment but it’s going to catch up with them in the end like it did with Southampton which is a shame if it does because they play brilliant football one of the few sides I can stomach watching in prem
RDZ kept on digging out Tony Bloom’s ambition - a local fan who’s invested £550m in the club to take them from Withdean to Europe. We are trying to compete against established giants. You knew what that was like a decade or so ago!

Brighton remind me of how Swansea were 20 years ago. Well run, have a plan and an idea of the profile of manager they want. I'd be surprised if they didn't already have several options on the radar for a replacement and hope they don't panic like Swansea did - cos look what that did for them!
Kjetil Knutson or Francisco Farioli

It’s unsustainable, you can see a massive drop off in performance the past few months!

Why in god’s name would he go to the England job?

They've had a very high level of injuries. They will be fine.
Yes we have had alot of injuries like other clubs, thing with us is it was key players who make things happen in Mitoma March and Enciso. Now is the time we really need to invest that profit into the squad and keep our assets that we have. Last years profit dont include the Caciedo or McAllister money.

Brighton have had exactly the same issue this season as Newcastle. The demands of European football, meaning three games every week, has seen multiple injuries and exposed the squads. A big part of due diligence for top clubs who are in Europe every year, when signing players, is around injury resistance. The Brighton model involves signing young players, so it isn’t really tested, and sadly a lot of them have broken down. I have less sympathy for Newcastle, as they have signed players with known poor injury records.

Selling your best players ever season will always catch up with you in the end no matter how good their scouting network is.

Convinced Potter has the rags job. Potter turnrd down Ajax
In any case, why would De Zerbi wish to destroy a blossoming coaching career by taking on that footballing basket case! Potter has already had a crack at the big time with Chelsea and failed. The rags are welcome to him.
