Basically BA are offering them a one-off payment of 10% of their salary which only makes up for their 10% pay cut during the pandemic. Although technically even that is less, as 10% now is less than the 10% taken away (unless they mean replacing what they taken away). And all of that doesn't even account for inflation!

BA won't commit to permanently reversing the 10% pay cut and on top of that are continuing to carry out shady fire and rehire practices.

all such employers are getting their just desserts for recent behaviour - customers don't like them

Looks like the managers got the 10% but not the workers!!

”Unite officer Russ Ball accused BA of having "insulted this workforce, slashing pay by 10% to restore it to managers but not to our members".”

One of the things about Brexit was that it gave the public the idea that it was implementing a change in how the country was run and how lives would be lived, and the pandemic subsequently gave the public a sense of unity that had been in decline for generations. The Government would be wise to dismount from its battle horse and realize that the looming problems are not all Union agitation and the desire of a few to halt modernization.
