browsing history

For no apparent reason over the last few days my history of sites i visit etc has dissapeared and my computer does not seem to store them. Also, it asks me for a password every time i log into sites even though i click on the box that says "remember my password" etc. Ive checked my internet settings (for history etc) and there's no change there. I recently changed to virgin broadband and have only had this problem since then. Any advice? Any help is much appreciated.

open internet explorer go to tools/internet options/advanced which is on the bar at the top and reset internet explorer settings. if that fails reinstall internet explorer. goto http://www.microsoft.com/windows/produc ... fault.mspx download the latest version.
