Yep he wouldn't be good there but lack of pace is one thing I wouldn't level at him.Mangala at LB would be a disaster. If he bombs up to overlap and the opposing team counters, I doubt he has the pace to get back.

Ummmm Zab is leaving mate.. pretty much done.Thats the thing Mangala has pace he showed it when he first arrived its his decision making and ability to read the game that let him down thats why he could be better playing out there were there would be less pressure on him. Peres is a very decent player but with Zab and Sagna both still here is a position we need to upgrade?
yup, also nowhere near technical enough to be full back, certainly in a Pep team.Mangala is far too big to be a full back, he'd get turned inside out by nippy wingers.

I agree...I don't really get the hate for mangala. I thought he played really well since he came back into the side after his last injury.Mangala will be superb in a back 3, him & Stones either side of Bonucci with 2 attacking wing backs could be the plan.
