Haha very true! We'll haggle for a couple of weeks and end up paying the asking price anyway! ;-)
Might prove hard if somebody decides to pay the asking price in the interlude

That is why you never offer the asking price sraight away, they will always ask for moreI'm sure as soon as we get to their asking price, it will go up again
Didn't understand the point about different defensive structure under Pellegrini and Pep. Pellegrini had the off-side trap drilled to more or less perfection. That involves the back 4 moving as a unit. In what way will the defensive structure under Pep differ? You are suggesting some structure other than personnel, numbers? I don't see what else a defensive unit can do other than to maintain a shape.
Will need pace in the back line and athletic midfield to play that way. I'd like to see City play that way.

Either way you cut it, it's rather embarrassing how we're haggling over 2 million and United are putting in a 100 million bid for pogba. And we are at the ones in the champions league
No it's not - it's called good business. Would be more embarrassing if we got ripped off.
Embarrarassing, lolEither way you cut it, it's rather embarrassing how we're haggling over 2 million and United are putting in a 100 million bid for pogba. And we are at the ones in the champions league
So that 2 million is the difference between a good deal and being ripped off?
Is there a difference ??No but no matter how rich our owner is we are allowed to negotiate. If every club knew we just paid whatever they wanted we would be a laughing stock! Either your a rag or not very bright.
I think they are purported to have done this. No evidence whatsoever.Either way you cut it, it's rather embarrassing how we're haggling over 2 million and United are putting in a 100 million bid for pogba. And we are at the ones in the champions league

Why do you care what the rags do? half the posters are more concerned with getting one over them in transfers and not who we are buyingAnd you think us haggling over 2M will really send out a message to clubs that will try to extort us for as much money as possible? Unless our academy really thrives in the next couple of years, clubs know that we will pay whatever it takes as seen by paying 44M for Sterling or offering 45M+ for Bonucci. We have more pressing and complicated transfer negotiations to go through with Everton, Schalke, Juve and possibly Madrid. The quicker that this is wrapped up, the more time and effort we can put into those deals and not get blown away by the rags.
