BT Sport

The coverage today was unbelievably biased. Half time made me piss. They showed the incident when Burnley could have had a pen but not when city could have had one. Savage and Francis are a pair of absolute wankers.

I usually don't watch BT due to their terrible presentation overall (as well as the usual scum bias), but watched the game today (never bother with match build up/half-time or full-time.

Why are there 3 commentators? Ignoring the fact there all useless, I just found it really weird that there were three of them.

Worse bit for me was when Boyd stood on Sagna's standing leg as Bacary tried to clear the ball. Sagna went down in seemingly obvious pain and both Savage and Francis accused him of feigning injury and trying to con the ref (who missed it and allowed Burnley to regain possession and launch it towards our goal).

Even on the replay they continued the dive line when it was clear he;d jad his standing leg taken.

Francis was applauding the ref for "not falling for it" when Sagna was in obvious pain and had no reason to feign injury given the ball was still in play and we were a defender down.

I've never known such a fuss made out of a penalty decision in all my years watching footy on TV. They just wouldn't let it go and didn't even mention ours when it was obviously a pen.

No no. I then went to say that most City fans I know and myself are likely to cancel and probably let their advertisers know why and got this:

[the serious crimes being everything everyone on here mentioned today with regards the commentary]

Turns out the fuckers don't give a shit.

The more people that let BT sport know what they feel, the better.

That is an incredible response.

If that reply was from a standard customer service operator they'd be reprimanded.

Rags and Dippers to a man the lot of them.

Their fucking tears taste wonderful!

Thats more like it, I love their views on the news.

We expect them to be biased so nothing new there, but to continue with that particular incident makes for good TV as far as I am concerned because nothing else of incident was worth saying against us.
Enjoy their sense of injustice and let them relay the story ad infinitum. I love it.

I watched on some stream, not sure what channel it goes out on but the co-commentary was done by Kevin Kilbane I think.

That was every bit as bad as what is being described by other about BT.

At best it's a human being letting their (professional) guard slip and rooting for the underdog.

At worst it's deep-rooted institutionalised bias.

His final reply blames BT sport's poor viewing figures on our lack of fans:

Sam,

Viewing figure are a factor of what teams are involved. If Manchester Inited were playing numbers would be higher. Contrary to what some uninformed say UEFA are very happy with BT particularly the Europa League.

Fear of you again publishing my comments means I can't continue in our banter. I wish you and City the best for the season. I do genuinely hope you win the Champion League.

Best regards

Simon

I watched that channel - Kilbane blubbed about that penalty about 10 times. I hope his knob falls off.

Just this. Not sure why some people let themselves get wound up by it. Their salty tears are a joy in themselves and long may it continue.
