(Buckle up) Recession for more than a year

My buckle has been pretty much in place for 12 years - I have never known a government deliver such division and long term doom and gloom.

The fact we are about to suffer our 4th inadequate Prime Minister in 6 years tells its own tale regarding division in Westminster.

While they squabble and fight amongst themselves, the country suffers its worst fall in living standards in generations and there is no plan other than wishy washy nonesense about 'growing the economy' when their record on that score has been abysmal since the day they took office 12 years ago.

Another 0.5% interest rise due to be announced next month. There will be a lot of repossessions occurring very shortly at this rate. Doesn't make any sense.
