There’s going to be some serious discontent and with some seeing downing tools as the only way to show disproval, we could be in for the worst economic disaster generations have ever seen.

Priti Patel, Kwasi Kwarteng, Dominic Raab, and our next PM, Liz Truss, plus one other, wrote a book that was published in 2012 called 'Britannia Unchained', in which they laid bare their beliefs on how the country should be managed.

Liz Truss made a statement today when she said British workers lack 'graft'.

That chimes with their obvious disdain for the average person as detailed in that book. They think we earn too much money, have too much time off, retire too early, don't work enough hours in the week, enjoy employment protections we don't deserve, and are more concerned about football than generating wealth for the country.

Their solution, and they are now running the country, is a low tax economy with minimal state services.

When you listen to what Liz Truss is saying, that is what she is promising.

He was quoting something that obviously wasn't his own opinion or original thought and then claimed he didn't know any of the background (ideology) to the quote.

So no, it doesn't mean that (what you said). Next you'll be claiming you have no ideology behind your opinions.
