Fixtures for the new season have been released today.

https://www.dfl.de/en/

I was surprised to learn that Bayern will open the new season away, I always thought they'll get their mandatory friday night home match as reigning champions. Maybe DFL looked at the outcome of Schalke's 8-0 thrashing at the Arroganz-Arena last season and showed some compassion with Mönchengladscum (how dare they?!). Apparently, Bayern's first home match will be against Cologne on MD 2 - oh dear!

MD 1, 13th-15th Aug

Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bayern München

Borussia Dortmund - Eintracht Frankfurt

VfL Wolfsburg - VfL Bochum

Union Berlin - Bayer 04 Leverkusen

VfB Stuttgart - Greuther Fürth

Mainz 05 - RB Leipzig

FC Augsburg - TSG Hoffenheim

Arminia Bielefeld – SC Freiburg

1. FC Köln – Hertha BSC

Yep, fingers crossed that travel and ticket sales/stadium capacity will be back to normal by then

Judging by the thread title they're just cancelling the league at the midwinter break and handing the title to Bayern. Saves us all a pointless half of a pointless season in a pointless "league".
Cheers, fixed that. You do have a point there, the 2. Liga and the battle for promotion between Schalke, Bremen, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Hannover and maybe a couple of others too will be far more interesting than the title race in the Bundesliga.

Hopefully, Dynamo Dresden will be in there too, but I’m not sure if that will happen.

can't believe the state of German football that those teams are squabbling in the 2nd tier. Poor times.
