Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

Strange, in a good way. The spirit tonight is in stark contrast to the last few weeks.
 
Quick sharp passing, players making themselves available, made it look very easy.

We have been so slow recently in transition its given teams opportunity to regroup

two banks of defensive lines. David was significantly sharper in laying the ball off,

Hes much more effective when he lays ball off first time because of his quality. We

need to keep that pace of transition in our game. Great boost for the weekend as

noone was poor individually tonight.
 
Enjoyed all the performances tonight. Thought Angelino had a good game but still thought he could have done more with his crosses and been more direct at times. He seems to have all the right ingredients so I am sure he will continue to improve. Great to see Walker and Otamendi have a good game and get praised as I think they often get needlessly criticised and are actually a better bet, at least for now, than Stones and Cancelo
