Burnley... getting tickets

I've just been on the ticketline number at City to get a couple of tickets for the Burnley away game... been told that they've stopped selling tickets over the phone for that game!

What's that all about?

Is this as new thing? I've always called to get tickets for away games if I can't get down to the ground.

Seeing as I live a fair distance away from the stadium it looks like I'll miss out unless they are still on sale at the Everton home game.

Can anyone explain why this has happened... it's still 3 weeks before the game... so why withdraw the service?

Based on what has just happened to me with Aresnal tickets (See Aresnal away thread), I would try ringing back but choose Customer Services (Option 2, 1) and see if you can get them via that route. Get them talking first or some of them try and transfer you straight back to the main ticket line.
