Had they scored on the stroke of ht it could have made for an interesting few mins but 6-0 didn't flatter us.

Credit to Haaland and the team of course. However, a huge credit to Pep. Getting Haaland to link up the play, we look so much better. Similar to a false 9. The way he handled Kevin has been superb. Questioned his performances and what a reaction he got. He likes angry Kev, we all like angry Kev!

Agreed, I belive vinny kept playing that way to see which of his players would step up against a top PL team and which folded. Almost an audition for them for next year to see where he needs to improveI dunno, I think he saw it as a free hit, especially when they went behind. He wanted the players to carry on playing the right way and learn a few things. Hopefully they'll back him as he's brought in some promising talent. That German CB looked good

Thanks mainly to two superb latch ditch tackles by Dias!They had one shot on target in the first half a that was it.

Have to say first half I was a little anxious, thinking it could be a bit dodgy today!
Burnley looked pretty decent and I thought Kompany's got them playing some good stuff here. Arguably they were probably better team until we scored.
2nd half I thought we played some fantastic football and it also showed the gulf in quality. Haaland ofcourse is an absolute beast, KDB and Foden really on their games and Alvarez is some player isn't he! (and is still getting used to English football.)
Being up in row Z of the East Stand I had a great view but it's not always the most 'rocking' part of the ground.
Having said that ,I watched a recording of the game this morning and i thought the atmosphere came across okay. The studio pundits were all very complimentary too, so not a bad day all in all.
Now we can only hope Fulham do their bit!
