We are back to just playing well again.

Yes we have won many games earlier in the season, but sometimes not very convincingly, we needed performances back on the menu, the wins will come as a result of that.

Alvarez deserves some praise today. In the shadow of Erling but, never stopped, scored twice and assisted. Well done.

Thank goodness we tied him down to a new contract this week.

7 changes so it took us a while to settle. Awesome when we did though. The striking Viking doing what he does and with Kev and Phil pulling the strings and the indefatigable Alvarez pressing everybody we looked pretty good.

Well the score against Burnley at the Etihad was the standard one, but Burnley played well - especially in the first half - and could have had a couple themselves.
