Burnley tickets "coming soon"?

Burnley gave us the full stand for a while until the price cap came in and they would lose money and the home fans were paying £42.

Last time they were up the price was £30 for home fans too in the last season, and then £15 last season, but as expected the prices have shot up again with a lot of band-waggoners and they can easily sell out game like this now which wasn't always the case.

I pick a central block close to the exit and it is still hassle, and once in there it tends to be a free for all in the aisles and walkways amplifying the risks of the poor layout, access and egress etc.

125 left now so around 100 sold again that window so far, which will be the bulk of sales and people who bagged will have been released and appears as very small amount added to for the final push.

The next window is 1000 points as opposed to the last few being 500, so the demand will be close to 200 for 100 or so tickets.

Let the scramble begin. Sells out 1301 hrs.

Got 20600 points and nowadays the only away games that I can make advanced plans for are the ones with a minimum 2500 allocation, are over 100 miles away and aren't played on a Saturday. Of which there are (or at least was last season) plenty. This season anyone with less than 21k probably won't have a sniff of Burnley, Everton, Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Luton, Liverpool, Man U, Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and probably Aston Villa and maybe Wolves. That's way over half of the away games and asks the question of whether platinum is worth the added expense for anyone on less that 22 or 23k.

I'm not whinging before anyone suggests that I am, I'm not that arsed anymore but the demand for tickets has reached a level where ballots are needed to be introduced as this is a method of ticket distribution that gives EVERY supporter who'd like to support away from home a reasonable chance to do so.

Difficult to introduce without stepping on the toes of those that currently have around 23k and above though.

If 1,500 tickets went to points you would be fine every game as there are not that many above you. That is the issue.

35 added back from baskets then, there's definitely a game being played by some.

I suspect that you're right, but it would be interesting, and probably quite damning, if the exact points table was ever published, and we all discovered our true position in the pecking order.

Ballot is the worst thing that could happen. Every season ticket holder had the chance to go to an away last season regardless of points. Games like Bristol, Southampton, Chelsea, Newcastle, Copenhagen, Dortmund and Sevilla all went to low points/members
