I think yaya without dave is a mistake,those 2 create a lot between them

Kolorov always worries me whenever he is on the pitch. A lot is down to how ferna and yaya keep the ball today....think we will have less possession than normal with fernando in there as his passing is iffy and if he or kolarov are pressed at all it could be a long day

think this selection shows the importance of having yaya at least available....Pep has picked this team with rotation and resting players in mind (especially with silva nor KDB playing).

I wonder if stones has been dropped due to his part in the goal on Wednesday night? We know that Pep can be ruthless when players make mistakes (though it surprises me ottomendi gets away with the amount he makes)

It's freezing, it's going to be a battle and I like that team. Pep showing adaptations to suit the type of game. Let's give as good as we get and win 2 nil.

That's an uninspiring team if I ever saw one but at least we are set to do ok against their long balls and set pieces... And of course it's good to see that Pep is saving players' fitness as they only had two days rest. Shame about Gundogan missing completely from the squad, but I guess that's expected. If we will be too slow to do anything than KdB and Silva can still come to rescue.
