Can't really blame Txiki here unless he is coaching the side! Maybe he has written the blueprint, but there are people on our coaching staff who should be seeing to things like our ridiculously wank corners and throw ins. Another poor clearance from Kompany

kompany won the header , he got 20 yds distance on the clearance , and not one city player tried to close down the pikey burnley player when he received the ball .
Kompany was the best player in a city shirt yesrterday , he didnt put a foot wrong.
This is what i despise about some city fans , they acquire their scapegoat , and when they are down and need support , they decide to kick the life out of them , well done.

Not for me. He looked nervous and hesitant and his distribution was appalling. However I've no doubt he'll be back to his imperious best soon

Are you going to argue that a set piece that has an average ratio of about 0.07 in terms of attempts/goals is in anyway something that we should be discussing because you have a bee in your bonnet about our form?

Dam open your eyes mate , for fucks sake have a look at our form on the pitch since Christmas, it's not the last five games it's all fucking season - it's not working under Pellegrini, Or his woman who his buying the shit the poor bugger is supposed to work with .

Have a look at the complete shit we have bought , no fucking flow chart with "Pressing" on it changes anything and becoming a Barcelona B team isn't the answer.

So do you believe that because goals from corners aren't frequent, we should accept the mediocrity we're seeing from them? Here's a stat right back at you: We scored 10 goals from corners last season. We have scored 2 goals from corners this season. Do you not think those 8 missing goals could have helped us this season? Perhaps the Arsenal game for example where we weren't good but had 16 corners and a head on the end of just one of those could have turned the game.

And my gripes with our corners (and throw-ins) precedes our poor form. Heck the "Corners" thread precedes this awful run of form and was created early in the season. Why? Because it's been an issue for a while. We have more corners than anyone in the league and should aim to use them to our advantage.

PSG paid attention to corners and they are now in the quarter finals of the CL after scoring twice from corners against Chelsea , who also scored from a corner. At that level paying attention to detail is crucial. To us mere spectaters it appears we do not think it is worth the effort.
