I dont want to sound naive at all but who was at fault for the last goal yesterday?

Was it Ireland for letting the lad run off him or was it Lescott for completely ignoring the run?

The end result of course was Lescott ball watching as the man ambled in and laced it into the net.

Bridge for being out of position and Lescott for not coming accross quickly enough to cover.

Lescott got a case of the Mcmananamamam's and was pointing, whilst standing neither here nor there, picking nobody up.

There's lots of blame to go around on that goal. I don't think the right back should escape criticism for example.

Bridge was at fault for not dealing with the initial long ball

Absolutely ......

it was poor attempt at a headed clearance ....... he'd have done better ducking under it then belting it into the stand ....... he fucked up and it allowed the guy to cross the ball.

Mind you Lescott didn't have a clue where the scorer was either!

The goal that really rankled with me though was the second one ...... never , in a million years , was that Premiership class defending , not even Champioship class either ........ my granny could have scored that!
