Advice please!

I'm looking at buying a second car for the missus - a used corsa or something - I'm looking around the £1200 mark.

I'm going to see a couple tonight (from dealers) priced at £1275 and £1295 - What would you consider to be a reasonable amount to offer given the list price?

Cheers

You don't say how old she is or whether her bodywork's in good nick or not but I think you'd get more for her than that. ;-)

Bodywork in good nick - still a great runner when she gets going....

Sorry, NO pics :)

It does - I'm not keen on buying privately though - you don't really have any comeback.

The wife was after a little runabout , and now she's gone and paid £1,900 for a 2003 Peugeot convertible , because 'it looks good' ...... i told her that french cars can be 'temperamental' , like their makers , and that i wouldn't buy one , but she told me it was her choice , and she then proceeded to tell me to 'shut it'!!

So shut it i did ...... and i'll still be 'shutting it' when she rings me up and tells me she's broken down somewhere !

Pack it in with all that. There'll be no such talk here. I bought an 07 Renault Megane convertible yesterday, 1.9 diesel.
