Obligatory rag allagiance? You having a laugh?! I've followed Manchester City for over 20 years unlike some of the Johnny Come Lately's and 16 year olds on here. Half of which couldn't tell you anything about the likes of Nixon, Redmond, Stewart, McNab, White Adcock, Simpson, Varadi, etc. Also been a season ticket holder at Parkhead for 16 years and could count any mates or people I know who like Man Yoo on the one hand. Dangerous stereotype mate, there are quite a few Celtic and City supporting fans not just in general but on this forum.
I think he was on about the perceived links between Celtic and Norwich. And, more often than not, if you support one you also support the other (particularly over here).

Sure I kind of got the jist of it JH, bit I naturally get pissed off when I hear people make the assumption. I'd honestly say that any kind of affinity has soured after the two visits in the Champions League (2006 & 08) when they caused a bit of bother, in their usual cowardly manner attacking old mans pubs instead of the ones on the Gallowgate or town centre where any casuals hang out!

Unfortunately it's a well documented fact that neither of the "old firm" won themselves any favours on their last visits to COMS/Manchester. Hence some of the less than sympathetic posts re. the game today. Also, you remarked on the "assumption" that Celtic fans are fans of Norwich (and vice versa). I'm afraid it's not an assumption over here, it's a fact that most Celtic fans who follow an English club follow the vermin.

How did the "second biggest football club in the world with the second most famous history" lose that one?

LMFAO!!

I'm always amazed how so many "City fans" on this forum call the SPL and Scottish football in general, utter shite, pub league ete etc yet have this compulsion to post comments on related threads like this!!

Was at the game, appalling, Ross County fully deserved it, Lennon was spot on with his post match comments. Hope County go on and win it.

Never called Scottish football mate.Just laughing at Celtic.

Whenever Celtic fans have come on here after a friendly etc. it's invariably like listening to Rags, even though the vast majority of the "glorious history" we always get rammed down our throats in response to questioning is mostly confined within a two-team league in Scotland.

And all the Celtic fans I've ever met in the flesh support united or at least see them as their "English equivalent"-hence the "love-ins" whenever they play each other, and my "second biggest club in the world" comment.

And Rod Stewart is a twat.

;-)

Didnt the rag scumbags attack the bars in the Gallowgate area early doors m8 ? Brother in law said they did . The Celtic fans ive met up in Glasgow hate Manure with a passion . The shits did the same when they played Rangers at Ibrox . Attacking Small groups or loan Rangers fans on PRW early on .

Over here i'm assuming you mean England/Manchester? You live there and can make that call and have that opinion, that's fine. You can't tell me that thousands of Celtic fans in Scotland (even England, Ireland & Wales) all follow Man Yoo. In recent months i've seen a couple of polls on CFC forums asking about peoples 2nd or English side, like people on this forum the results were quite varied. Some said nobody else, others went mainly for Arsenal or Liverpool, with 'nited even behind the likes of Barca and Villarreal!

Actually; no I don't.

Listen, the SPL is a 2 team league and blueranger will tell you what goes around comes around! Read his previous post which backs up what i'm talking about in reference to Celtic & Rags love in (sic). Of which he was spot on, The Rag MIB's picked off small groups of Rangers fans when they played in 2003 (I had a few mates who were at it and saw bother). Ironically I know a a couple of Gers fans who follow Man Yoo and regularly visit the swamp about 5 times a season.

In a more light hearted note, I saw this group of fannies run up the back of Mary D's at the Carling Cup Semi 1st Leg and try and square go a City fan about 40 with a young kid. Thinking the guy wouldn't react cos the kid was with him, he let his son's hand go and motioned he was fair game, the Rag ran a mile! Pure class and sums the fcukers up!

Ok m8 . Although a Rangers man i meet alot of hoops fans when out with my B in L in Glasgow . The vast majority hate Manure and actually have the red dippers as their second team like Rod Stewart .
