On a football board,

"Terrible.... coudn't believe that was a red, awful decision!.... Such a shame that the refs are deciding who finishes 4th."

3 WORDS

STEVEN FUCKING GERRARD

They arethe most deluded fans EVER.

FACT.

They still think they have a divine right to win something AND finish top 4 every season, gonna be interesting to se what they do in the summer after finishing outside the CL places.

I've seen the replay and he was unlucky to get a red.

About time we got some luck with refs, though.

Don't bank on that. I reckon they will manage 4th yet.

i'd agree with you if he had not then wrapped his left leg round carlos, high enough to ensure he would be scissored with a real risk of injury

I know you're making the point they are being hypocritical, but they are right. It wasn't a red card, not at all was it. (Well, it was but you know what I mean!). He was unlucky. It was a bad tackle, yes, but the reply doesn't cover Tevez in glory depending how you inturpret it. Many could say he did a two footed stamp, some might say he did so to avoid being hurt. I just think it was 2 players going for a ball perhaps somewhat hard. I also think Atwell is a prick for not seeing that. Its a mans game ffs. No one got hurt, it was 50/50. Fortunately for us though it made us the better team, (something which worries me), and thus ended up with a 3-0 win.

Good post. It was looking alarmingly like a 0-0 until that point.

I think it was a foul which might have warranted a yellow but not a red.

I thought the ref was pretty poor to be honest, missing lots of things.

He's a kid mate, shouldn't be anywhere near the premiership just yet. he's the one who gabe the goal that never was at Watford last season. For some reason the FA Big Wigs lick his 26 year old arse and refuse to accept he's out of his depth. He couldn't have got a better view of that last night if he tried, and if anything he had a better view of why some think Tevez should have gone. Like you say though, it was a yellow at best, but also for Tevez too in my opinion.

Deffo not a red tbh....but hey, shit happens.

Shit does happen and usually to us... A ref did us a favour for once, if we were any onther team no one would have given a shit.

Gerrard the fucking bin dipper needs to stop elbowing players in the back of the head before even making any statement about anyone else... T**T!!!

Done....

Tevez was booted all over the pitch last night before the red card.
It does look harsh but one leg went in hard while the other went in high.
Most of the time a booking would have been the result but I doubt it will be reversed as it wasn't John Terry.
Tevez two footed is a joke. That is one of his moves. He gets there early puts both feet behind the ball and often jumps up with it.
He was there well before the man and there was no danger, in a slowmo or freeze frame it can be made to look bad but it wasn't. he does that several times a game.

It did initially look at a bad challenge, first reaction was a straight red had to be and that is how the ref saw it.

Having seen replays from the various angles a bit harsh, however his right foot hit the top of the ball therefore a little high and his trailing leg then wrapped around Tevez which was not necessary to win the ball.

An ugly challenge, lets not crucify the ref on this one it was understandable decision and looked bad live.

Dippers moaning LOL!!! Never mind Gerrard's elbows, the guy should be in prison. And are they forgetting Goofy's potential leg breaker on Barry at our place? Penalty and a red card not given by the bent twat Walton

I think refs miss very little, unless the FA asks them about some retrospective sky blue infringement. They just decide they are going to twist the written laws of the game to match rather absurd decisions.
