Because the BBC dared to criticise the England team, instead of gushing praise when the lose to Croatia et al, the FA decided to take their ball back and refused to let them bid for the rights this time round, so we ended up with Internationals and FA Cup games on ITV and Setanta. When Setanta went tits up, they had nobody to take up their rights so you ended up with the PPV web streams last season. now ESPN have lost half of their Premier games, they have come on board. It all depends on who wins the next round of bids, but with the licence fee being frozen, the BBC may decide not to table an offer. Although the FA keep asking for more money, the struggles to find a sponsor for England, and EON ending their deal to sponsor the cup at the end of the current campagn, they may struggle to get a good deal.

We should have a game broadcast that is exactly what you would hear if you were at the match - visuals, noise of the crowd and FA else! No pundits insulting yer intelligence with gobshite comments, let the football do the talking. Let's face it, most of these footballers might well have played at a higher level but when it comes to talking about the game we are as good if not better. It's another way of wasting licence payers' money on the BBC to have shitehawks like Shearer, and advertisers' money on ITV listenin' to the Baggies' Bullshitter.

FA Cup should be on BBC anyway, regardless of shit commentary.

Their highlights show intro makes me laugh.... shows Chelsea what 3 times? in the intro, many other clubs.... yet no City.... and we're still in the fucking cup, and have won the cup in the past.

1 - Somebody pays shitload for tv coverage
2 - Clubs get more money
3 - we pass Uefa financial fair play
