I honestly believe England will win the Slam this year, we have the strength in depth, the pace and the defence, also the momentum which is a must at this level of rugby. Anything can happen in sport but I expect us to beat Italy comfortably after a hard 20 minutes in the first half. Wales will bring hellfire and damnation to the Millenium Stadium on Saturday the 16th March, as beating England with the added bonus of denying them a first Slam for 10 years will be all the motivation they will need to crank up a level.
What do you think, am I right? is my confidence misplaced?? Have England got what it takes in your (honest) opinion??

I'm not that bothered really but at a general price of 1/2, I'd imagine there's a pretty good chance they can do it.

Should have bumped the Six Nations thread, then I could have reminded nf that he owed £20 to a charity of my choice ;).

I think we'll do it, will be tight though, the Welsh love nothing more than beating us.

Fair point bumping the other 6 Nations Thread, thought it had been taken down.

Probably should be on a betting thread but I notice Italy have once again covered the handicap in all their games this year.

With +24 available at Evens, I don't see any reason why that trend won't continue.

I think we'll beat England in Cardiff but England will still win the 6-nations but without a slam.
