Not really here
i have just downloaded driving test all pass for a mate. (shock horror software thief etc)
now it has come as a 7gb iso file, which when opened through power iso is what looks like an installation disk.
my question is however, how do i squeeze this onto a 4.7gb disk as i can see no way of splitting it into 2 disks.(as it looks as though it is for a single disk install)
he isn't exactly computer savvy and does not have a clue about power/magic iso to mount the iso to a virtual drive.
anyone have any ideas?
cheers

In the days of expensive dual layer disks I used to use a free program called dvdshrink to (yep you guessed it) shrink the large file onto a normal dvd.

Personally I'd just download daemon tools lite, right click on the virtual drive, click on mount, find the iso file and open. Then look on my computer and locate the virtual drive (mine is drive E) right click on it and play with DVD software of your choice.

Or use split & concat to split it into two files? they will end ***.iso001 and ***.iso002, then you use the program to join them again when you get them where you want them,

Thanks people.
like i ssai, its going to a home thats not all that computer savvy, so i think ill go for the dual layer option.

cheers
