Can my account inform me of people replying (quoting) me?

It's something I've found quite common in other forums that I'll get a message informing me when someone has quoted me and I was wondering whether this is something that can (or should) be happening with Bluemoon?

I've looked around my account options but I couldn't find anything that suggests this function exists :/

I assume I'm just being stupid in the extreme and I've missed something in plain sight.

The option isn't available, you just have to keep a track on where you've posted to see if someone has quoted you, or more to the point where someone has misquoted you. If you see the amount people actually post on here I'd say it would be utterly unworkable.

Maybe a better idea would be along the lines of the foe button, where you could have a maximum of 3 users who you could find out when they'd replied to one of your posts........now that would be good! Sort of an anti-foe button?

You can be notified on reply if thats what you're looking for, not sure if that means quotes though.

User control panel > Board preferences > Edit posting defaults.

I'v always wondered that. Maybe it would be something which could be included by Ric at some point?
I think it would be a good idea personally.
And that user control panel where you change notifications, is that if you create a thread and they reply in your thread?
