Totally agree De Niro. I've felt confident since the Derby that we can do it but after the Newcastle game a lot of blues have seen it the league as won.

Plus the idea of a pitch invasion is a shite one anyway

It's bizarre I am normally the most anxious person there is before a big match and I convince myself we are going to lose (the derby match and Newcastle are the 2 most recent examples). For some reason though despite my best efforts not to tempt fate etc. I feel serenely confident about the QPR game.

I think I saw something from the players in those last 2 games that has convinced me that they won't let this one go. As I say it's a bizarre feeling and not one I've experienced with City since the 1970's.

Mind you I agree that going on about T shirts and parades and stuff is still a load of crap until we've actually won something.

I'm a guilty party in the above as I started the 'Italian job' t-shirt but with the caveat 'If'...

Truth is most of my thoughts on this game are dark i.e red card for one of our players,barton plays like a man possesed,city players don't get a good nights sleep before the game etc

It's hard as all will know it's impossible to try and delete 30 years of supporting city and watching comedy gold at times and take on this new 'champion' mentality so I'm just giving it a go :-)
