Kinky seems to divide opinion on just what a player he was. My take is, we were poor in all departments and deserved our relegations. Our crowds would have plummeted had we not had a talisman, who on his day, was one of the best in his position, in the world. He never tracked back, but that wasnt the way then. Some games he was a passenger, but that has been said of many of our big names now. He often tried to do it all on his own, but watching the vid back again, look what happened often, when he played someone in. I am very glad he came to us, stuck with us when we went down, and gave me some fantastic memories of one of the best dribblers ever. ( and as for that goal v soton, i cheered less than normal as i was stunned)
