Can you wake yourself up without an alarm ?

Back in the day i had an Alba VCR that pressed record at 730ish for a minute. That little noise used to wake me up for years.

Now I'm older I sort of count time in my head, as strange as it sounds. I know what time it roughly is and wake up pretty much on time without no alarm

So long as you don't wake up in a fat bloke mate.

I have no clock in my bedroom and when I’m off work I just seem to get up at pretty much bang on 08:00.

I always set my phone alarm for work though, just in case

We have 4 of the bastards, I'm sure they have a daily meeting at about 5.55 as to who gets voluteered to wake me up for their breakfast. Usually it's the Retriever and the Lab who get to sit on my face until I get the message.

I suffer from an irregular Vowel movement.

Deaf as a post a marching band could serenade me with March Of The Valkyries and I wouldn't budge. I have a buzzer cushion that gets me up. failing that there is the tried and tested method of a shrill wife whose decibel coefficient is off the bloody scale.
