Canterbury Cathedral

There is too much shit graffiti around, every city is starting to look the same.
Some commissioned public art is good but some is overbearing and only seems to be there for appreciation by a narrow yoof-oriented sections of the public.

There are some of the nations finest, heading over there right now. Festooned in flags. A couple of Knights Templars. And a bucket of lime, to right the wrong and burn down a few hotels. Makes you proud.

Its a fucking temporary thing.

How the fuck does anyone believe religion to be a thing, Magic man in the sky bullshit. The number of conflicts, issues, hatered and division in the name of god is shocking.

I believe it would be better to have a belief / value structure for society to work with.

Having said that i can understand fully people wanting to believe in something better.
 
A few years ago Lichfield Cathedral had some Arabic writing on banners and someone was kicking off about Islamic texts in a Christian cathedral. They were texts from the Bible in Arabic.
