Tomorrow (Friday) evening Northern Ireland play Serbia in Belgrade in the red star stadium holding 55,000.
UEFA ordered that the game was to be played behind closed doors after the trouble the Serbians caused in an earlier game, however after representations by the IFA they have allowed 240 Northern Ireland fans to attend the game.

Should make for an "interesting" atmosphere.

I see that Ireland have taken another player from the North now with Adam Barton deciding to choose Ireland over NI. Just looking at our squad we have 2 Scotts and 2 from NI that would make a huge difference to both teams. In McGeady and McCarthy from the Scots and the likes of Gibson and Wilson from NI. Law who else can we rob from NI. Just goes to show that some of the players would rather play for Ireland than get a lot of shit from some of the minority NI fans god help it if any more decide to play for Celtic.

Alan Knight never had any problem from the Northern Ireland fans, neither did pat Jennings or Gerry Armstrong, indeed the only person that has had major difficulties was neill Lennon due to some comments that he made in the media (perhaps after poor advice, or perhaps to ingratiate himself with the parkhead fans), though the junior association on the island cant claim to be without bigots either, just ask Leitchenstein players.

Still, 1 nil up away in Belgrade at half time is good enough for me atm. :-)
