"Mancini is an Italian manager and he is working very well. The results are good. I hope he will realise the ambitions of the owner," said Mancini. "He changed a lot, the style from Mark Hughes is very different. Now I think the team has more confidence and they can beat every team. I was there and Chelsea was a really important game for all the players. Beating Chelsea away is not easy for the best team in the world. Yes, they can reach the top four."

Read between the lines - he also knows we're a better team now Hughes is gone

Forza Mancini

capello and mancini are far from friendly but it does seem as though grudgingly fabio rates our bobby

Yeah one of the most in demand managers in the world, seems to rate Mancini is ok. I wonder if fans here would change their mind.

The literal meaning of "forza" is "strength" and "force".

But when it's an exclamation, it means "go". It's mainly used to cheer or encourage.

Forza! = Go!

Forza Italia, or Forza Azzurri = Go Italy! Go Azzurri!

i couldn t give a fuck what hes got to say, anyone can manage england, we ve only a handful of players to pick from anyway...i ve said all along that you gave hughes 18 months, wasted months in my opinion and obviously our owners, now give mancini the same amount of time

Forza Mancini

Where is the quote from? It says "said Mancini" not Capello.

Me too mate, what the fuck is City to do with that stupid looking twat Cappello,he should keep his opinions to himself and concentrate on winning the World Cup

Cause if he doesnt he be on the dole looking for a new job,THEN he will have the right to comment about any particular team

It's quite ridiculous that any fan would be criticizing and doubting Mancini already. Honest to god he's one of the top managers in the world and any team would be delighted to have him as manager. Even national sides.

Now if by some freaky circumstances after a couple of seasons it's just not working out, then ok. But after less than 3 months in charge? Ridiculous.

I unsure if this is irony or if you actually think that if Capello doesn't win the World Cup for Engerland the QF specialists then he should be on the dole. Sublime or ridiculous? I just can't tell.

Didnt say SHOULD be on the dole, the fact is if England dont win it he WILL be on the dole,as the FA will get rid, thats what I meant anyway

Those comments from Capello are actually quite important I feel. In spite of being on very cold terms with Mancio, he has praised our manager and our owners.

As they have come from a very respected manager and figurehead for our national team, maybe, finally, the game is starting to recognise the power we are to become. maybe the doors are beginning to open rather than us having to beligerently kick them in?

Forza Mancini, forza celesti
