Radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza can be extradited to the US after Europe's human rights judges rejected his request for an appeal, the European Court of Human Rights said.

More follows...

It took me 2 years to get my visa to move to the States and I had to have a complete background check and medical..... has Abu done the same???

This thread has got nothing to do with the EDL.

This thread is about getting rid of dangerous extremists out of this country to face justice.BTW..They do actually kill Christians in Pakistan.

But fair play to you for trivialising it.

justice my arse.

I believe the Rover group closed down because the Government wouldn't give it a £5 million tide over loan just how much money has this clown and his offspring cost cost company Great Britain.

what do you think justice should amount too for someone who attempts to set up terror camps?

£2.75 million at the last count.

They look to me as thought they are demonstrating there religious views and however extreme they may be, they have right to do so.

And under Sharia law, other religions wouldn't have that right. (Nor would women and gay people either)

BBC are reporting that the Queen personally asked the government why Abu Hamza couldn't be shifted quicker.

I find it appaling that an unelected head of state can influence national debate.

I care little for Abu Hamza and his view of the world.

But Parliament should have primacy and i find it disturbing that those outside have undue influence. Is this the Queen going back to the days of Charles II

The monarchy should stay out of politics, if they get involved they should rightly lose any status they have.

It's not like you to get things so wrong Rascal ;-) she asked a question of the then home secretary, a question that many people not just her would have liked an answer to, because it's a mystery as to why he was allowed to stop here for so long and get away with what he did, I don't see it as her trying to influence anything, and it's pretty obvious that she did not, because he is still here! (not for much longer I hope)

It is so wrong in every respect because the Queen's comments were made in a private conversation and were never intended to be broadcast outside of that, as, quite rightly the Queen never makes any official political comments whatsoever. The BBC has rushed to apologise for this and castigated the person responsible. The monarchy does stay out of politics.

Firstly i'd like to know what law is broken.
Then i'd like to know why, if UK law has been broken, the accused cannot be tried and sentenced in the UK.
I'd also wanna know which section of the (skewed) extradition treaty between the US and UK the accused is being extradited for.
Then i'd like to see how the US can be deemed to provide 'justice' when it has a very long history of locking people up for years without a trial.

It's illegal in this country to demonstrate a view that people should die isn't it?

So using that yardstick it isn't legal for him and his followers to promote the death of fellow citizens...that's hate speech.

Theorising wont change that.
