But when you get moderate men like our Current Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams advocating that parts of Sharia law should be adapted into our common law then you have to realise that some tenets of all religions can have valuable effects of society.

I don't think there was any confusion with regards to this mob of nutters and moderate Muslims.

As for the man in a frock in Canterbury he's another religious loose canon (No pun intended) who can keep his fairytale opinions to himself,he doesn't speak for me.

Sounds fundamentalist to me too, but dont confuse there views as being that of the mainstream muslim faithful. In any religion there are the fundamentalist nutjobs. Christian evangelism as seen in the american teap party is as vociferous and as dangerous.

I did ask that yes.

Depends on peoples stances around free speech i suppose. I absolutly back there right to there views. I might find them odious, i may disagree but in a democratic society they must have the right to demonstrate there views.

Theo Van Gogh who Dazdon posted about was a true believer in the concept of free speech and it didnt matter who was the target. As a believer in the concept im sure even though he was murdered because of his views he would still back peoples right to say what they believe in.
