Have a parasitic drain on my WAV Sprinter and if I don’t start it every other day then the battery has insufficient power to crank it.

AA couldn’t find it and suggested a Kill Switch. I thought there was were only them clunky looking manual ones, but now see remote control ones.

Anyone tried them?

Sounds perfect for my situation but have a worry bead.

Are they reliable if fitted correctly and, should it fail and isolate the battery whilst driving, what would be the likely consequences?

Had the same thing happen in the wife's CRV. Turned out to be a sensor to let you know if the bonnet was latched.
I unplugged it as it's always latched.
What year is the sprinter?

Aaah...then the AA bloke was a useless twat.
There has been considerable electrical mods to my car to accommodate all the disabled gadgets in it, some, I have no idea what they are, so maybe he just didn’t fancy it as my call out was simply to get the van running.

I’m going to have to get a kill switch and the remote control ones would be best for my needs but am worried what would happen if it disconnects the battery whilst driving ( even though it is claimed to be disabled if the battery V exceeds 13.3v)

If anyone has the slightest clue what the above posters are babbling on about feel free to enlighten me.

Thank you.
I think one of the above posts indicates that those unfortunate enough to live in the US name parts of the car totally wrong.
