I remember as a kid scrap yards were all over the place. You would climb over cars piled up on top of each other looking for the part you wanted. you would rip it out yourself and either shove it down your pants or up your jumper and sneek out. Obviously bigger parts you would pay for.

Anyway where is there a scrap yard in the South Manchester area anyone know?

They've all shut down. People kept stealing from them.

I wish, just had to buy 6 new injectors for my car. Would have been ideal getting them from scrap.
 
Go into Manchester on the Metro link from Disbury.

There’s a massive one just before Deansgate.
