Carabao Cup R4 Draw | Spurs (A) | Wed 30 Oct 20:15

More often than not though we get drawn away.

When did the rags last have a PL away tie in one of the early cup rounds?
No idea, thought we were talking about our ties and anyway who gives a fuk about a washed up club that can't beat Twente at home and are 11th in the league? Like their fans you have to face up to the reality that their irrelevant

Every fucking year, donkey dick. This must be bent.

Knowing pep, will he stick to putting kids out?

He might not have a choice but to, forcing his hand. We have a day extra then Bournemouth 3 days later. This CL format is an utter piss take.

rags v PNE
les arse v Stoke
dippers v Sheff Weds
Newcastle/Wombles v Palace
Leicester v Chelsea
Villa v Brentford
Southampton v Brighton
spuds v City
Must have got the Chelsea & Spurs balls mixed up.

Apart from that every game could have been hand picked.

This is going to take too much effort to win, send the kids and get out of the compy....a QF, 2 legged SF & a final all probably against a top 5 side or the rags sadly especially with the CWC isn't worth the effort.

Sick of those cunts always getting an easy ride. Need kicking when they’re down.

How many Big Cup ties do we keep getting. When was the last time we got an easy route to a final, I see the scum got another home draw.
We get slated by other sets of fans for always having easy draws.

Our next opponents in the CL are the lowest ranked team in the competition, rated at 154th in the world.

There’s just too many games to take the Carabao Cup seriously anymore. If by any chance City beat Spurs, and the team in the QF, and get to the semis, then it starts getting serious. But with extra games in the CL, and an injury ravaged start to the season, I won’t be bothered if City get knocked out by Spurs.

Not really arsed this season, tbh. Pep made it clear yesterday that we wouldn’t be going for it, so better to go out early in that case. Will be a good learning experience for the kids, but hard to see us winning there unless Spurs play their kids too.

If you're Spurs, who haven't won anything in ages and given a lot of the top teams rest players for this competition, especially in the early rounds, you think they'd go all out to win it.

Bigger fish to dry this season. Rotate again and see what happens, a good test for the fringe players but not worth us expending energy on with so many bigger games and a few injuries already.

Some absolutely wank comments on here. Defeatist bollocks. Pep, as always, as he did last night, will go strong. Very strong.
Thank fuck he has the big bollocks that’s seen us win endless cups.
We're 5 weeks into the season, we've lost Bobb, Ake and Rodri to medium or long-term injuries from an already small squad. "Going strong" at the start of 4 straight away games in 10 days risks derailing our season and from Pep's comments I can't see it happening.

Pep never sends a team out to lose as he is too competitive for that but we have too many injuries now to be bothered about strong teams in this cup.

We were probably gonna have to face a decent team at some point so may aswell get it done early. Our 'weaker' team is capable of beating them anyway.
