Yes, and the fact that it's irregular almost certainly flags it as a very old word in the language. I don't have my Oxford English Dictionary to hand, but I suspect it goes back in some form or another to the Germanic and Icelandic languages that were at the root of Anglo-Saxon till the Normans arrived and Harold got something in his eye.
“Fuck” is an old word. Nothing to do with Romance languages (i.e. French, Italian) or Latin. So is “****” by the way. It comes up in Chaucer, when the Wife of Bath promises her husband (one of the many) “don't worry, you shall have **** aplenty at eventide”.
Now — come on Forest! Stuff those “fucking cunts”. You can do it. We “shat” on them earlier in the season.
