I'd have him on the bench now in certain games.Very much falls under the category of 'if you're good enough you're old enough'
His pace alone would give defenders a headache,but he has genuine ability too.
Let's get him integrated and acclimatised and we can build a superstar.

In comparison to those other players, I would say he does the simple things much better and doesn't try to overplay.
With his speed and skill, he could easily get carried away and be greedy. But he's not, he seems to understand his role and the effectiveness of doing the basics well.
That's why he's racking up the goals and assists. Him and Mebude are a problem for other teams in the way that Sterling and Sane were in the first team.

He is the one in that group who imo definitely has that X factor, something special that sets him apartIt’s not impossible…he has the talent so it won’t be surprising if he backed himself. In terms of talent, he’s not any worse than those mentioned but he has something different. He’ll get you off your seat. Depending on what happens with integration with the first team or lack of, we can only wait and watch now

Been with us since he was just 10 years old too which is the proverbial cherry on top.The exemplary attitude is great. Very much a team player hence the assists he racks up. Fingers and toes crossed he makes it here

If he is that good you might wonder why Southampton didn’t try to buy him or get him on loan.
I meant this in a cynical way. I agree the lad could go a long way. Problem with this young players is their rise will come at different moments of time. I like to think we know exactly who to keep, who can go on a temporary loan, and who will go on a loan only to be sold unless he surprises the management.

Saints, Spurs and half the Bundesliga are already trying to tap up and unsettle Mebude
Another hat-trick last night against Derby. Two of the three goals showed absolutely frightening pace. Unlikely we'll see him this season given the wide options we already have but I'd love to see him make the step up soon enough.
