Great skills but disliked him for refusing to play and fucking off for months. Also remember him throwing away a City scarf he was given as he climbed the steps to receive his FA Cup winners medal

Unbelievable player.

Also, was in it solely for himself at every club he played at - probably other than Boca - and was just in it for the money. Or, at least he was more obvious in that respect than his peers.

Given the second paragraph, it says at about him that he gave far more than most whenever he stepped on the pitch.

A force of nature. What a player.

Gave it to John Terry, whose arse went, too.

A fantastic player -when the team was strugging he would just take the ball and try to create something. A bit of a loose cannon sometimes but it was hard not to like him.

Seemed to score a lot of goals at home to the likes of Wigan and Blackburn, from memory

I liked him, ran about a lot and scored some goals

To me, he is a great. His contributions were as important as all the other big boys who have faded away in the past few seasons. He blotted his copybook for months, but, what a player! I have many great memories of him, but the uppermost is that, when he lost the ball, he'd be up and back, tackling, until he got it back.
A unique talent. Added to the fact that we snatched him from the scum, and, THAT banner - what a signing he was.
