It amazes me just how many people are all of a sudden forgetting just how shit dzeko was in the majority of games he played last season.

Why will he suddenly come good? Is he going to a local soccer school to learn how to control a ball in the summer?

Tevez was easily our best forward last season.

Have enjoyed watching Carlos and he has been a good signing but I think his legs have gone. He has not looked after himself and can't beat a defender for pace. A bit like Rooney who has had to drop back into midfield. He won't get much better now. Thanks Carlos and good luck if you do go!

Yes but the choice may be that or pay his wages for a year and get nothing for him next summer, and if he's not expected to be a regular starter that's a lot of money

I have to agree with this in its entirety. Surely Pellgrini and the Barca should be in now with Tevez telling hims not to go anywhere and offering a new deal. Thank god shit for brains Marwood has been moved elsewhere or we flogging him on the cheap and bringing in Michu for £60 mil on the last minute of transfer deadline day.

£20-22m would be ideal for us but we can't be to choosy with Tevez only having a year left on his deal.

I have seen that Navas has cost us £17m up to £27m, Fernandinhio £22m to £34m the media just make up a number and put it in to their reports

All I would say is that our executives will pay what they feel they can afford and we accept what they think is reasonable and if they are confident that it will meet the FFP rules then we fans should let them be and not take it as a personal affront as many seem to me "such as we have paid too much" or "we have been mugged" its not your money and if the club accept it then just leave it

I will say that the days of us having to overpay have gone and more and more players will be linked into wanting to play for us so the City premium will slowly disappear as we will be able to "persuade" players to leave like Untd Real and Barcelona do

To be honest if the agreement between juve is true and if they have offered that fee in exchange I'd take it and move on. I'm surprised they even offered that much, I'd obviously like to get it up to £15m maybe in addons or so but he's got 1 year left on his current deal and he's 29 we're only gonna get so much

With one years wages left it would accumulate to around 20m right?

I am not happy at all we are letting him go but if Txiki has something in mind that will benefit the team then so be it.
