Sorry if this has been answered a million times before but.....

Got a few days to take off work and fancy taking my lad down to Carrington to watch City training. Is it still possible to do this?

Cheers

Basically no. Massive screens up now and unless you either use large stepladders or look through the odd hole in the covers at strange angles there's no chance.

I would suggest the best thing to do would be to write to Bobby Manc and ask if you could watch training one day. I'm sure he'll say yes. The reason that there are screens is because the press take photos of alleged bust ups, as well as possible scouting missions, but a dad and lad pose no such problems, so if permission is asked, I'm sure you'd be ok. Might take a few weeks to get an answer though so if your work leave is imminent it might be too late.

Of course if the above has been tried by other BMers to no effect then apologies.

Thanks for the replies. I'll write to the club, see what happens, nothing ventured nothing gained etc.

Judging by the training reports you'll need:

Step ladders
Umbrella
Waterproofs
Binoculars
Flask
And a radioactive suit due to all the pylons and cables around there, fucks my radio up every time i drive past on my way home
