Carry on Sparky son.

At the time he was a good choice, considering the realistic options we had.
He has however been poor, he may well be able to manage a Spar shop well, but is unable to transfer those skills to manage a Sainsburys.
Gus Hiddink, get in there boy.

I never wanted him and said so at the time, my reason was coz of his rag connections.

I dont want anyone with any connections to them mongs associated with our club, the sooner he is binned off the better, if I was a conspiracy theorist, I would think that he is doing his utmost too ruin us, fuck him off now & take all his backroom staff with him.

Oh it does matter, if were gonna be shit or were gonna be good then let it be without any past connection of Ragness, theres just no need ever for it in my book.

So you wouldn't mind us being shit just as long as it wasn't an "ex rag?"

Josh, you disappoint me.

Hughes aside, City should go for the best available regardless of any previous "connections."

Sharon Ive watched shit for the best part of 36 years all over the country but at the very least it was unadulterated unpolluted BLUE CITY SHIT.

I'll happilly spend my hard earned watching more BLUE CITY SHIT for the rest of my life I just want it to have nothing to do with in any remoteest way to do with those RAG CUNTS. And we have one in charge of our beloved club FUCK HIM!!!

Am I bothered I disappoint you - not one bit because quite frankly I could say the same about your acceptance of him as our manager - however I'm past tit for tat.

For the first time in my life I'm calling him Sparky in a loving manner. Keep it up son your gonna make Christmas and New just year perfect.

From the moment you were rumoured to be a possible manager of our beautiful club I've hated you all the more than I ever did before.

I never wanted you because you were a Rag and I had the balls to say it at the time.

Although very few others have the balls to admit in public they don't want you because of your past at least I'm comforted in the knowledge that there is a deep resentment to you because the lack of vocal support you receive on a match to match basis proves to me that the vast majority of Blues can't and won't ever sing your name and therin lies the truth.

Think I'm about to get pissed so I'll raise my second glass since todays defeat to you and let us always remember....It would have been 5-0 but for you, you bastard.

What an embarassing post.. its not balls to admit you didnt want a manager because he used to play for utd, its blinkered, idiotic rubbish... imo of course.

It views like this which make me cringe; he wasn't a player who spent his life growing through the ranks at utd he played at the top clubs at the time, he played for them but he left them twice as well.

I guess if Vidic was bought by our new owners you wouldn't support him? Or Tevez? I don't see what Hughes did wrong today, he set us up as best as we could have hoped and players like Dunne/Richards/Benjani/Ball etc just didnt deliver.

This isn't a "Pro Hughes" post, its an anti "I'll cut my nose to spite my face" post.

100% agree. gus hiddink is the man to move us forward.

oh don't forget if anyone finds out he has any RAG ties, then he shouldnt be the man for the job. forget everthing else ;)

i ve got an idea, i ll pick little robbo to play in the rain because hes not fully fit and i think i ll pick big daft benji today because hes not fully fit as well

ive been saying foe ages hughes is shite but you just get abuse, bring back scorer!!!!!!

This, 'anything to do with utd and i wont support it' is one of the most moronic viewpoints i've ever heard, would you support Vidic if we were to buy him, or Teves? It's not balls you had so i don't see why your crediting yourself with it, its a ridiculous childish mentality and one that exists in other walks of life but carries much stricter consequences. It views like this which make me cringe and embarressed to be classed as supporting the same football club.

I want the best for City regardless of who might deliver it.

I accepted him because he was OUR Manager and I thought he could do a job at that time.

For me it is simple, not something to get wound up about.
Do I want him now....not sure. His tenure so far has been sketchy and it is getting worse. But never did I see the rag connections as something that clouded my opinion of him.

i totally agree. i'm embarrassed by it all as well. it an attitude like this which holds this club back. i love city and dont hate united, thats cos i couldnt give 2 shits about them to have an opinion. all i'm interested in is whats best for MY club and fuck everyone else.

Well you have been consistent and honest. I don't agree with you on the rag connections but like you I never wanted Hughes simply on the grounds I believed he was not the man for the job. For Frank possibly. For ADUG never.

My view on Hughes was that he was Pearce but competent.

My apologies to Stuart Pearce.

And much as I wanted Hughes to do the decent thing and hang on until the summer it now seems we have little option but to dispense with his services mid season.

And I never thought I would say that either.

couldnt give a shit about hughes past. all i'm interested in is if he is good enough for the job regardless of anything else, and thats all anyone should be interested in as far as i'm concerned.

Exactly. But by now with about thirty matches all told, he should have, injuries included, established a set up or plan so that we don't get stuffed by crap teams. We have got better players than most teams down in the bottom half, and as someone has posted, we only get a team performance when everybody plays well. We just can't carry a couple of poor performances during a game.

Its an easy ride to slag off a manager, lets face it you will always be able to say " I told you so ". Every manager wants to do their best, but very few will....infact there is only two managers (maybe 3) in this league that could rub those words in your face and even they will eventually faulter.

I was never to impressed to see Hughes as our manager, but I was willing to give him a try. You never know what it takes to make a team become a winning team? So if I'm deluded for supporting my team instead of getting hooked on someones past then YES you were right.

Let me finish by saying who ever becomes City's new manager/coach will eventually fail, call me a prophet or call me someone edging there bets. Although whatever you call me I won't be rubbing other City fans nose in it for trying to have some belief in OUR team.

I've supported Hughes, until now. Not because we have lost today, but because of his stupid tactics, his inability to coach our corner takers to beat the first man, and other basics, players take a lot of the blame top, but unfortunately ultimately its the managers fault.

The thing is, i dont want a manager with no experience of the premiership so that rules out so manyncandidates. If we cant get Jose, then to be honest i dont know what to fuck we can do.

oh dont get me wrong i think he should go now. but not because he's a RAG, but because i no longer think he's the right man for the job.
