Am I seeing people on here moaning about PSG spending loads of money !!! . Unfookinreal.
You really couldn't make it up! Surreal.
That's putting words in mouths.

The overall theme, other than news about Cavani, is that PSG's spending is good for City as it means that FFP regulatory fire will centre of the French clubs and a challenge to the new regulations will be brought forward.

If the new regulations are proven to be unworkable, and uneforceable, then City can continue to invest in the club unchallenged.

Indeed.

I hope they continue to spend gazillions. I also hope we stick with our plan of producing our own players, whatever the outcome, as most of the players people on here are craving, are not worth the money it would take to sign them & wouldn't deserve the huge wages that would bring.

Wonder how the papers will spin it ? Cavani SNUBS city is my bet with no mention of chelsea or madrid.
Seeing as most of the paper speculation has linked him with Chelsea more heavily than us, I can't see it. And with Madrid not playing in the PL, there would be no reason to mention them at all, so what's actually happened here is your paranoia going into overdrive. Good luck with that.

Whilst we are somewhat shitting it about FFP, PSG are just saying
a big "fuck you" to Platini and his cronies. Let them be the focus
of attention ( ha ha ) when they post huge losses next time.

Chelsea and Manchester City lose out on PSG-bound Edinson Cavani

EDINSON CAVANI will not be coming to the Premier League this summer - with Chelsea and Manchester City missing out to Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign the coveted Uruguayan forward
Cavani was high on Jose Mourinho's striker shortlist, but it appears that PSG have trumped the Blues to secure the 26-year-old's signature.

The French champions are set to activate Cavani's full €64million (£55m) release clause and hand the goalscorer a salary worth almost £200,00 per week.

After talks with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis last week, PSG director Leonardo admitted the transfer was close.

"We presented De Laurentiis with an offer that I consider really interesting," Leonardo said.

Zalatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola

"The negotiations continue. We will remain in contact and, in these next few days, there could be news.

And according to recent reports on the continent, that move is set to be announced early this week, disappointing suitors such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has claimed the deal is done, and that Cavani will star alongside the Swedish international in Paris.

"It seems that the transfer of Cavani to PSG is done," said Raiola. "This is a major operation for Napoli but he is also still a great player who will leave Italy.

"Cavani and Ibra is a beautiful duet. And PSG will be further strengthened."

Blows mrtwiceaseason's post to smithereens, and an added bonus of mentioning United missing out too.

keep spending... psg,as monaco ..spend spend spend

It doesn't matter if they spend because it's money from "sponsors" which give them around 200mil a year.

We could do with some more of that, and get Bale signed!
