Unfortunately, and as annoying and frustrating (and unfair!) as it is, Platini's cheating, conniving plan has fucked us over hasn't it. Despite hope we could get around it with lawyers, and numerous sponsorship deals, etc that have helped us stave it off a bit, we have been reigned in just like Platini hoped.

I think if it wasn't for this bullshit, and our owner was able to spend his own money on his own club (and in doing so helping poorer clubs by handing out big cheques for players, which filter down the league) I think we'd have had RvP signed last year, and Thiago Silva & probably Hazard, plus Cavani this summer.

We are doing the right thing for sure by acting within the letter of the law of FFP and also being seen to do so. We don't give Platini (not forgetting Gill also of course!) any opportunity to take action against us. Let's see what, if anything happens to PSG if they fail badly to even begin to comply with FPP and take it from there. We can wait a season or two.
