Wonder how the papers will spin it ? Cavani SNUBS city is my bet with no mention of chelsea or madrid.

Seeing as most of the paper speculation has linked him with Chelsea more heavily than us, I can't see it. And with Madrid not playing in the PL, there would be no reason to mention them at all, so what's actually happened here is your paranoia going into overdrive. Good luck with that.

Correction we weren't snubbed by Hazzard the deal was done until bellend Marwood thought he could renegotiate the deal.

The latter. It was his agent who wanted to renegotiate after Chelsea won the CL and entered the party.

Lol hopefully mate as its a huge season coming up for us as a club and a brand. 2 years running not getting out of group stages in champions league and had a few good beatings on the way. I think it's just disappointing that we've gone for targeting isco, cavani etc to players like osvaldo, negredo although handy is hardly a brand player, and even rondon has been mentioned! All the stuff going on in New York and the academy etc and the stadium expansion is stunning but will count for little if we don't succeed on the pitch. Domestically we look good but no one in Europe fears us and If the board want European success then we must be the best players in the best positions.
