PSG are operating within the FFP guidelines.

They found loopholes, and fair play to them. Sucks for the rest of us, but they were slick and it worked

Yes, this is what you call within the FFP guidelines.
(January 22, 2011):
Qatari Owner of Top French Club Hires Son of UEFA President Platini
Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) hires lawyer Laurent Platini, son of UEFA president Michel Platini.

QSI, an arm of the Qatari government, owns a majority interest in the leading French club Paris St. Germain and is also Barcelona’s shirt sponsor. Michel Platini voted for Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup. Platini is also one of the men responsible for ensuring PSG complies with incoming financial fair play regulations, something it may have difficulty doing. [OBSERVER, 1/29/2011]

Their 'loophole' is the biggest sponsorship deal in history that makes the Etihad deal look like child's play. If the Etihad deal was under scrutiny then this must be at risk of being ruled 'unfair' by the FFP police. Or if it is deemed fair, City can more than quadruple the yearly income from Etihad.

it depends on what the guidlines are actually classed as, there is one about the fair "market value" of deals. and if there 150m euro a year deal doens't break that then nothing will.

The problem is I don't think we would do anything with our current deals. We want to be seen doing the right thing for organisations who blatantly want the skids put under us and we seem all too happy to bend over and take it. It's already damaged us and seems to be doing the same this summer despite the two that have arrived.

If the move doesn't work out then he would half take some shifting, even if they can afford it.
